What you will do
- Partner with sales to open executive doors, qualify opportunities, and demonstrate commercial and risk value of solutions to institutional banking leaders.
- Act as strategic overlay in sales process: join client meetings, pitches, and negotiations to provide credibility and map solutions to desk requirements.
- Bridge blockchain, stablecoin, and tokenization concepts into business cases for Global Transaction Banking, Prime Brokerage, Securities Services, and Custody.
- Leverage network for strategic partnerships and co-develop go-to-market plans with system integrators and consulting firms.
- Speak at industry events and briefings to drive awareness of in institutional finance.
- Collect institutional requirements to guide product roadmap and technology priorities.
Requirements
- 10–20 years in institutional financial services, understanding money, securities, and risk flows in global systems.
- Sell-Side/Transaction Banking experience: worked inside or sold into transaction banking, securities services, or prime brokerage at major banks.
- Digital Asset Leadership: track record leading/advising crypto adoption in regulated FIs for compliance, custody, payments, or strategy.
- Executive Network: current C-level/SVP relationships across banks, asset managers, broker-dealers, credit unions, regulators.
- Deep knowledge of blockchain analytics, on-chain intelligence, stablecoins, AML/sanctions monitoring, and U.S./global banking regulations (BSA/AML, OFAC, FinCEN, SEC).
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales and partners (Big 4, SIs) for client strategies; expertise in GTB functions like cash/liquidity management, trade finance, cross-border payments.
Nice to have
- Client-facing or sales-support at fintech/regtech/blockchain vendor for FIs.
- Blockchain tech evaluations/implementations with compliance platforms.
- Experience with digital asset custody, trading, payments, or on-chain monitoring.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related.
- Big 4/consulting experience on digital-asset/regtech engagements.
