What you will do

  • Develop and execute payer strategies across commercial, Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, and employer segments to drive access and revenue.
  • Design, negotiate, and execute innovative contracts including value-based care, outcomes-based agreements, and bundled arrangements.
  • Monitor reimbursement trends, conduct market analyses, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Pricing, HEOR, Clinical, and Legal teams to build payer value propositions and enable go-to-market planning.
  • Build senior payer relationships and deliver thought leadership on reimbursement innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, public health, or related (Master’s like MBA, MPH strongly preferred).
  • 10–12+ years in payer strategy, market access, or healthcare consulting with enterprise impact.
  • Deep expertise in payer contracting, reimbursement, and value-based care across payers.
  • Strong financial acumen with contract modeling, pricing, and economic evaluation experience.
  • Ability to translate clinical/HEOR evidence into payer value propositions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influence skills in matrixed environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience in diagnostics, MedTech, digital health, or healthcare innovation.
  • Licensed clinical background (PharmD, RN).
  • Knowledge of regulatory/compliance for scientific communications.
