Location: Remote

Salary: $146,775 - $195,700 annually

What you will do

  • Own new product features and offerings in the insurance roadmap, driving cross-functional prioritization focused on market differentiation and growth
  • Develop business requirements and manage cross-functional efforts for building and launching new features
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitors in level-funded commercial insurance; prioritize enhancements
  • Maintain governance and processes for insurance product lifecycle, including variation governance and portfolio reviews
  • Establish planning rhythms connecting strategy to execution across actuarial, underwriting, compliance, operations, and technology
  • Partner with compliance and regulatory stakeholders to integrate requirements and reduce launch risks

Requirements

  • 5+ years in health insurance product management, product operations, or related
  • Experience building or maturing product management processes, governance, or operating models
  • Familiarity with health insurance lifecycle: regulatory filings, benefit design, underwriting, go-to-market
  • Strong cross-functional alignment across actuarial, compliance, operations, technology
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or MPH preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience with small group level-funded insurance products
  • Previous startup experience
