TL;DR

Sales Manager, K12 (Strategic and Key Accounts): Lead and coach a team of Strategic Account Executives selling EdTech SaaS solutions into K12 districts with an accent on achieving revenue targets, pipeline management, and complex enterprise deal strategies. Focus on strategic coaching with MEDDPICC, accurate forecasting, territory planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive market penetration and growth.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $220,000 - $240,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly team sales revenue targets with at least 2.5x pipeline coverage.
  • Conduct pipeline reviews, deal coaching using MEDDPICC, and leverage tools like Gong for insights.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and manage individual/team performance with feedback and improvement plans.
  • Foster a high-performance, people-first sales culture through continuous coaching on prospecting, negotiation, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SDR, CSM, Marketing, Product, etc.) and guide territory planning.
  • Participate in recruitment/onboarding, provide market feedback, and ensure CRM accuracy (e.g., Salesforce).

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years direct sales experience in K12 education market.
  • Minimum 2+ years leading sales teams to $5M+ annual quota.
  • Minimum 4+ years enterprise sales into large districts (30,000+ students) or state-level deals.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies like MEDDPICC or Challenger Sale.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, analytical, forecasting, and communication skills.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce) and knowledge of K12 procurement processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience selling SaaS into K12.
  • Navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with EdTech trends and competitive landscape.
  • Fast-paced, high-growth environment experience.
