TL;DR

Manager, SMB Sales (EdTech): Manage a high-velocity team of Account Executives driving sales to K-12 schools and small-to-mid-sized districts with an accent on pipeline management, revenue targets, and operational scalability. Focus on coaching with AI tools, strategic deal reviews, and implementing sales processes to exceed quotas.

Location: Remote (US only). Legally authorized to work in the United States required. Open to up to 30% travel.

Base salary: $100,000 - $120,000. On-Target Earnings (OTE): $175,000 - $195,000 USD.

What you will do

  • Manage sales execution for SMB segment including schools and small-to-mid-sized districts.
  • Drive pipeline, stage management, onboarding, training, and growth strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Provide hands-on leadership, deal reviews using Gong, Salesforce, and AI tools.
  • Coach team to achieve quotas, foster hunter culture, and self-generate pipeline.
  • Hire, mentor, and retain talent in partnership with Learning & Enablement team.
  • Develop action plans, optimize processes, pricing, and trial conversions for scalability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years sales management experience in K-12 EdTech.
  • Proven track record as top-performing individual contributor in K-12 EdTech sales.
  • Deep knowledge of K-12 education landscape, funding, state initiatives, and decision-making.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft, Slack, and AI tools for sales.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal); legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Strong project management, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience in high-velocity sales to small-to-mid-sized schools and districts.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.
