What you will do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand prospect environments and Cloud Data Platform cost challenges.
• Own the technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) process, ensuring successful outcomes and alignment with requirements.
• Deliver tailored platform demonstrations that showcase capabilities for specific use cases.
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses to articulate tangible cost savings and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to translate customer feedback and feature gaps into the product roadmap.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and events as a subject matter expert in cloud optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and associated best practices.
• Hands-on experience with FinOps, observability, or data integration solutions.
• Proven ability to conduct complex data analysis and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders on cost management.
• Must be based remotely in the UK or the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Professional background as a data engineer or architect in the Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery ecosystem.
• Experience as a FinOps professional.
