TL;DR

Full-Cycle Account Executive (SaaS/Fitness & Wellness): Leading go-to-market efforts in Japan for Momence, owning the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing with an accent on consultative selling and market entry. Focus on building a scalable sales motion, conducting product demonstrations in Japanese, and shaping the local commercial strategy.

Location: Remote (Japan). Tokyo-based candidates preferred.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle in Japan, including outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and closing.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and consultative selling entirely in Japanese.
  • Build and manage relationships with new prospects and existing Japanese customers.
  • Collaborate with the APAC sales team to share customer feedback and shape the Japanese product and GTM strategy.
  • Manage sales activities and opportunities using HubSpot.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Japan (no visa sponsorship provided).
  • 3+ years of closing experience in software or SaaS sales.
  • 1+ years of experience selling into small businesses, preferably in Japan.
  • 1+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
  • Strong understanding of Japanese business culture, etiquette, and market dynamics.

Nice to have

  • Experience as a first sales hire in a new market or working in early-stage startups.
  • Existing network of contacts in the Japanese fitness or wellness industry.
  • Experience localizing sales processes and messaging for the Japanese market.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot.
