What you will do

• Define and evolve the architectural vision and technical roadmaps for the MineStar Office ecosystem.
• Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions addressing complex mining operational challenges.
• Drive technical strategy, innovation, and continuous improvement in software development practices and architecture.
• Mentor and develop a team of engineers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to product management, business leaders, and customers.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and engineering best practices to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading solution and system architecture for complex, distributed software ecosystems.
• Strong expertise in modern software architectures, including cloud platforms, microservices, and APIs.
• Proficiency with modern development languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Deep understanding of mining operations, workflows, and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Must be based in Brisbane, Australia, and available for full-time on-site work.

Nice to have

• Experience with the MineStar Office ecosystem or similar mining technology platforms.
• Experience leading architecture for enterprise-scale or mission-critical systems.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
