What you will do

• Lead and direct a software team developing a distributed software platform.
• Manage, coach, and develop the team to drive accountability and professional growth.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Liaise with customers on critical project deliverables and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee cross-disciplinary projects involving deliverables from hardware, mechanical, and software engineering groups.
• Drive software engineering best practices and provide regular metrics and status updates to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing software development teams, specifically in application development.
• 5+ years of experience building medium to large-scale mission-critical, high-availability production systems.
• Proficient experience developing on Linux and associated technologies, with good knowledge of Windows development.
• Strong working knowledge of at least two of the following: C, C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Qt, WPF, or web-based industrial UI stacks.
• Experience designing and integrating runtime user interfaces with backend services, real-time data sources, and hardware components.
