What you will do

• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing organization of Senior and Principal Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Set technical direction for major customer engagements, ensuring high standards in AI system design and enterprise deployment.
• Establish consistent practices for agent engineering, prompt management, LLM evaluation, and production operations.
• Act as an executive technical advisor to strategic customers, aligning AI strategy with business transformation goals.
• Synthesize field learnings into actionable input for Product and Engineering teams to shape the product roadmap.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across regions and disciplines to ensure delivery excellence.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of customer-facing technical teams in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in LLM systems, prompt engineering, evaluation methodologies, and production deployment of agentic workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for building production-grade AI applications.
• Proven track record of managing senior technical talent and establishing operational rigor.
• Based in or able to work from Bellevue.
• Ability to travel up to 30-40% to customer sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise automation platforms.
• Background in machine learning, including custom ML models and AI Center-style deployments.
• Familiarity with multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini) and their trade-offs.
• Experience with orchestration platforms and complex integration architectures.
