Location: Onsite in Hawthorne, California, United States. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $80,000 - $130,000

What you will do

• Own all outbound and inbound shipping execution, including routing and carrier selection.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and applicable export regulations, managing ECCN/USML classifications.
• Stand up and scale shipping workflows, systems, and infrastructure to support increasing production rates.
• Mitigate shipping, customs, and compliance risks while resolving critical logistics failures.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams on packaging, release readiness, and material flow.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or global trade operations.
• Working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and export compliance requirements.
• Experience managing customs documentation and brokers.
• Proven experience building or scaling logistics operations.
• Expertise in international shipping and freight forwarding.

Nice to have

• Experience with defense or aerospace regulated hardware shipments.
• Familiarity with FMS and USG shipment requirements.
• Experience implementing logistics systems (ERP/WMS/TMS integration).
• Licensed Export Compliance Officer or similar certification.
• Experience managing 3PLs or freight forwarders at scale.
