Sr. Director of AMER Sales Strategy and Operations (SaaS): Developing and executing regional sales strategies for the AMER market to double revenue with an accent on operational efficiency, data-driven insights, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on optimizing sales cadences, managing annual headcount and quota planning, and leading high-performing operations teams.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA) — must be in office at least three days per week

Salary: $222,000 — $342,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Develop and refine the AMER regional sales strategy in alignment with global goals to drive growth.
  • Own the annual planning process, including organizational structure, headcount, territories, and quotas across AMER teams.
  • Operationalize and optimize sales cadences, including QBRs, forecasting, and pipeline reviews.
  • Leverage data analytics to provide actionable insights on sales performance and pipeline health.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Marketing, and SDR/BDR teams to ensure regional alignment on operational cadences and initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the AMER Sales Strategy & Operations team to foster a culture of performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales operations or strategy with a proven track record in the AMER market.
  • Experience in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Strong expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales performance analytics.
  • Experience working with large datasets and making data-backed recommendations, preferably using Tableau.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams, including second-line leadership roles.
  • Willingness to work in the San Francisco office at least three days per week.
