TL;DR

Territory Sales Manager (Commercial): Generate end-user demand for Master Lock products, software, and services using a consultative sales approach with an accent on Safety Lockout, Electrical Services/Arc Flash Safety, and Portable Security. Focus on building strong relationships with end users and distribution partners, achieving sales goals, and increasing market share across commercial channels.

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States (home-office based, requires travel)

Salary: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD

What you will do

  • Drive sales of products, software, and services through all commercial classes of trade in the designated territory.
  • Conduct sales meetings and product knowledge training for customers and distribution partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and end-user attitudes; report insights to management.
  • Document sales activities, forecasts, leads, and interactions in CRM software.
  • Attend conventions, trade shows, and events to support business development.
  • Manage territory budget including travel, entertainment, and administrative expenses.
  • Penetrate end-user facilities to sell the full product line including safety products and security hardware.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of field sales experience
  • Proven track record in commercial/industrial sales
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Ability to travel as required

Nice to have

  • Experience in security, safety lockout (LOTO), and electrical arc flash safety sales
