TL;DR
Technical Account Manager (Identity): Managing large enterprise organizations to drive the adoption of Workforce Identity solutions with an accent on identity strategy, technical maturity, and security posture. Focus on solving complex technical challenges, influencing customer strategies, and orchestrating solutions across IAM, IGA, and PAM domains.
Location: Hybrid. Must be based in the US (Bellevue, Chicago, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, San Francisco, Virginia, or Washington, DC) with required travel to SF or Chicago for onboarding.
Salary: $128,000 — $176,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical advisor and advocate for strategic enterprise customers.
- Design and influence identity strategies aligned with business objectives and security best practices.
- Proactively identify risks and lead the resolution of complex technical escalations independently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and support teams to advocate for customer needs.
- Mentor peers and create repeatable strategy assets to improve team-wide technical capability.
- Drive the expansion of the Okta footprint through additional use cases and increased technical maturity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience in a technical role.
- 3+ years as a Technical Account Manager, Technical Consultant, or Solution Architect.
- 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO and MFA.
- Must be based in one of the specified US locations: WA, IL, GA, NY, PA, CA, VA, or DC.
- Proficiency in identity protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; Okta or CISSP certifications are highly valued.
