TL;DR

Specialist, Technical Account Manager (SLED): Providing technical guidance and advocacy for strategic state, local government, and education customers with an accent on identity strategies and product adoption. Focus on optimizing Workforce and Customer Identity solutions and ensuring compliance with government standards like FedRAMP.

Location: Must be a U.S. Citizen and remain living in the U.S. Strong preference for candidates in the Chicago area, or those located in Central time zone states (including Colorado, Texas).

Salary: $100,000 — $125,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for strategic SLED customers, ensuring maximum value from Workforce and Customer Identity solutions.
  • Design identity strategies aligned with customer business objectives and recommend best practices for product configuration and adoption.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Account teams to develop and execute strategic success plans.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges by coordinating with internal engineering and support teams.
  • Deliver enablement sessions, workshops, and training to drive technical success and subscription adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize solution performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is strictly required to access federal environments and protected data.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Public Sector (SLED) customers in a SaaS organization.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Technical Account Manager, Technical Consultant, or Solution Architect.
  • 2+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management.
  • 4+ years of experience in information technology, cloud platforms, or the software industry.
  • Solid understanding of identity federation protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

Nice to have

  • Relevant certifications such as hirify.global Certified or CISSP.
  • Experience with FedRAMP and sector-specific IAM requirements.
