TL;DR

Location: Remote (Continental US, Hawaii, and Canada only) or hybrid in Mountain View, CA. US-based travel up to 20%.

Compensation: $152,908 - $172,022 USD (US) / $206,626 - $232,455 CAD (Canada) annually.

What you will do

  • Lead and scale the "People Who Do Research" (PWDR) program, providing playbooks, training, and mentorship to designers and product teams.
  • Design and manage a research tech stack powered by responsible AI to automate recruiting, synthesis, and insight distribution.
  • Synthesize complex insights across multiple product surface areas to identify strategic gaps and end-to-end user journeys.
  • Serve as a high-level internal consultant on the selection of lean versus rigorous research methodologies.
  • Conduct on-site research in US schools, ensuring ethical scaffolding and legal compliance.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of UX research experience in complex enterprise software or SaaS environments.
  • Proven track record in mentorship, coaching, or building Research Ops programs.
  • Practical fluency in GenAI and LLMs, with a deep understanding of their limitations in research ethics and quality.
  • Strong understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Must be based in the Continental US, Hawaii, or Canada.
  • Submission of a portfolio is required for consideration.
