What you will do

• Perform professional-level fire protection engineering services, including life safety code consulting, sprinkler, and fire alarm design.
• Develop and review plans, specifications, and inspection reports to ensure alignment with professional service standards.
• Conduct building code analyses, egress analyses, and reviews of smoke control and water supply systems.
• Lead quality control reviews for projects involving computer-based fire and egress modeling using FDS, Pathfinder, and Contam.
• Manage, plan, and direct engineering activities for assigned projects.
• Contribute to business development activities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in code consulting, design of fire suppression and alarm systems, and performance-based strategies.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
• Proficiency in fire and egress modeling (FDS, Pathfinder, and/or Contam).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Atlanta, Georgia.
• Excellent report writing, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
