What you will do

• Review and redline drawings by other engineers, suggest solutions, ensure completeness, consistency with standards, and project requirements.
• Proactively suggest novel solutions to emerging problems.
• Build training programs and development plans for engineers.
• Provide onboarding, mentorship, and encourage technical/professional growth.
• Attend kick-off meetings for complex orders and regularly check in with engineers to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
• Work with test department and production to coordinate testing of complex products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology diploma (Power Option preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of design experience in power products.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software.
