What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of Wiring Designers, assigning tasks based on project priority and capacity.
• Review point-to-point diagrams and panel layouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Drive process improvements and lead workshops to identify and resolve inefficiencies in the drafting workflow.
• Develop standardized documentation, including checklists and best-practice guides for wire tagging and terminal mapping.
• Onboard new designers and maintain a training curriculum to ensure consistent skill development.
• Coordinate between Electrical Engineering management and the wiring team while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering for feedback.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience creating point-to-point wiring diagrams and control panel layouts.
• Experience in panel-shop, industrial control, or switchgear manufacturing environments.
• Minimum of 2 years in a lead or supervisory role managing technical designers.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Fremont, California.
