What you will do

• Lead BESS consulting projects from concept to completion, including hazard analyses and performance-based design solutions.
• Evaluate fire and thermal runaway risks associated with lithium-ion and other energy storage technologies.
• Perform and oversee computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling to assess smoke, gas dispersion, and thermal impacts.
• Develop high-quality technical reports, design documentation, and guidance materials for clients.
• Act as a technical advisor to clients, manufacturers, insurers, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Contribute to business development through proposal creation and identifying emerging market trends in BESS.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's considered with experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in BESS-related engineering, safety, or consulting.
• Fully bilingual in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) required.
• Experience with or exposure to CFD modeling and performance-based analysis.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally between the US and Asia at least twice per year.
