What you will do

• Manage and implement engineering design and consulting projects on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate and conduct building and fire code reviews, plan reviews, and site visits.
• Prepare and peer review technical reports and develop fire protection strategies and alternative solutions.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Assist with business development activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in code consulting, fire suppression and alarm systems design, and performance-based strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer or equivalent professional designation preferred; significant industry experience considered.
• Experience in building code concepts, equivalencies, plan reviews, and field inspections.
• Ability to present clear fire protection strategies and work independently with professionals and authorities.

• Fire alarm and fire sprinkler design knowledge/experience.
