What you will do

• Design fire sprinkler systems and develop safety programs ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and Life Safety Code.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and prepare technical drawings and operating documents.
• Coordinate verification, validation, and approval of documents with technical and operations teams.
• Maintain historical information and follow rigorous work processes across multiple projects.
• Present information effectively orally and in writing using automated workflow systems.

Requirements

• B.S. in Fire Administration/Prevention, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years in Fire Sprinkler System Design.
• Experience implementing employee and facility safety programs per OSHA, NFPA, Life Safety Code.
• Ability to plan, self-perform, multi-task on projects; develop/maintain historical info.
• Prepare/interpret technical drawings; coordinate document validation.
• US citizenship required due to government contract and clearance needs.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering License (PE).
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculation software (HASS, etc.).
• DOE work experience.
