TL;DR

Sr. Manager of SOX Control (Fintech): Designing and implementing a world-class internal controls framework for a pre-IPO cryptocurrency payments platform with an accent on SOX 404 compliance and ICFR framework. Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or Hybrid in New York)

Salary: $145,000 - $150,000 a year

hirify.global is a unified payments platform for digital currency that aims to onboard the world to the decentralized economy by simplifying the movement of digital money.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end SOX 404 program, building the ICFR framework from scratch for IPO.
  • Lead remediation of control gaps and design preventive/detective controls across key processes.
  • Oversee control testing and act as the primary liaison with external and internal auditors for SEC/PCAOB compliance.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations to strengthen ITGCs and align ICFR with U.S. GAAP.
  • Build and lead the SOX team, drive automation, and report program health to executives and the Audit Committee.

Requirements

  • CPA required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience, with 3–5 years in SOX program management.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules, COSO framework, and PCAOB auditing standards.
  • Experience managing SOX readiness programs at a pre-IPO, high-growth, or multinational company.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to drive cross-functional workstreams.

Nice to have

  • Big 4 public accounting experience.
  • Experience in crypto, fintech, or financial services.
  • Familiarity with ITGC and application controls.
