What you will do

  • Develop and execute a risk-based Internal Audit plan focusing on AI, cybersecurity, privacy, and cloud governance.
  • Establish a scalable resourcing strategy, managing a co-sourced audit model and internal talent acquisition.
  • Oversee operational, financial, compliance, and technology audits, specifically for automation-heavy and AI-enabled processes.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of SOC 2 examinations, from readiness to final report delivery.
  • Provide oversight and independent assurance for the annual SOX compliance program and ICFR environment.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and report risk trends and audit results to the ARCC.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or be able to work from Morristown, NJ, Austin, TX, or San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive internal audit, external audit, or risk assurance experience.
  • Extensive experience in P&C insurance or reinsurance; Insurtech or fintech experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of SEC reporting requirements and public company ICFR expectations.
