What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for all entities ensuring US GAAP compliance.
• Lead technical accounting research for new products and translate conclusions into clear policies and system requirements.
• Manage external audits and maintain a strong internal controls framework suitable for an OCC-regulated trust company.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams during the design phase of new features to ensure accurate data flows and reporting.
• Design scalable quote-to-cash processes and ensure commercial contracts support revenue recognition.
• Build and manage a team of accounting professionals while driving automation to scale reporting.

Requirements

• CPA certification is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in fast-scaling or complex multi-entity environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and experience researching complex accounting issues.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams on system design and revenue recognition.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to automate reconciliations and financial close tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, crypto-native companies, or regulated financial services (banking, payments, trust companies).
