Quality Manager (Engineering)

Location: 100% in-office presence required in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $113,000 - 130,000 CAD

What you will do

• Manage ISO 9001 QMS maintenance and certification, including procedures and work instructions.
• Lead 8D Corrective Action Report activities (5Y, Fishbone) and verify their effectiveness.
• Oversee non-conformance reporting, investigations, and implementation of corrective measures.
• Perform internal audits and coordinate interface for external audits.
• Communicate Quality KPIs and identify trends to drive process improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance productivity in areas of quality, cost, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of related experience in quality management.
• Proven management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Access, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain 100% onsite presence in Surrey, BC.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infor Syteline ERP systems (QCS Modules).
• Experience with ETQ Reliance.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and IPC Standards.
• Understanding of UL, CSA, and other regulatory requirements.
