What you will do

• Lead the execution of independent testing for IT General Controls (ITGCs) across access management, change management, and system operations.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls for blockchain-native operations and digital asset custody systems.
• Validate the remediation of open SOX findings, including material weaknesses and significant deficiencies.
• Build and maintain scalable testing programs, templates, and workpapers for the IT SOX framework.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to bridge the gap between audit methodology and engineering culture.
• Leverage AI-enabled workflows and data analytics to enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, external audit, or SOX compliance.
• CISA and CPA certifications required (or actively pursuing the second one).
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or technology-intensive environments.
• Strong knowledge of COSO, COBIT, and PCAOB auditing standards.
• Technical fluency in enterprise environments, including databases and deployment pipelines.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure and on-chain transaction processing.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab).
• Prior experience scaling an IT SOX program in a growth-stage company.
• Proficiency with audit management platforms like AuditBoard or Workiva.
• Interest in adopting AI-assisted audit tools.
