LCA Consultant (Climate Tech): Lead end-to-end LCA engagements for enterprise customers, deploying hirify.global EIS™ platform to automate product carbon footprint calculations and Scope 3 data collection with an accent on regulatory compliance and scalable workflows. Focus on translating complex LCA results into actionable decarbonization recommendations, troubleshooting methodological challenges, and feeding insights back to product team.

Location: Based in Berlin or Munich. Flexible hybrid or fully remote working culture with accessible offices in Berlin-Mitte or Munich center.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end LCA projects from scoping and data strategies to results interpretation and reduction roadmaps.
  • Deploy and configure hirify.global EIS™ for automating PCF calculations, Scope 3 data, and activity-based modeling.
  • Engage with customer teams to design tailored LCA approaches for their portfolios and reporting needs.
  • Support compliance with CBAM, CSRD, ISO 14067, and EU Battery Regulation.
  • Translate LCA outcomes into executive narratives and decarbonization actions.
  • Troubleshoot allocation, data gaps, and boundary issues; contribute methodology learnings to product team.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
  • Based in Berlin or Munich.
  • Solid LCA methodology knowledge (ISO 14040/14044, GHG Protocol, PEF).
  • Hands-on experience with LCA tools (ecoinvent, SimaPro, GaBi, OpenLCA).
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Ecology, Chemical Engineering, or related.
  • Ability to communicate technical complexity to non-specialists.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of EU regulations (CSRD, CBAM, EU Battery Regulation, ISO 14067).
  • Enthusiasm for AI in sustainability and fast-paced software environments.
  • Passion for helping large companies reduce product emissions.
