What you will do

• Develop and maintain large-scale, business-critical applications using Appian BPM.
• Develop Appian plugins and configure forms, reports, application logic, and interface components.
• Configure, debug, and integrate systems with application servers and relational databases.
• Support all phases of software development using Agile methodologies.
• Contribute to RFIs, RFPs, prototypes, and oral presentations as needed.
• Maintain the certifications required for the relevant practice expertise.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM and Appian plugin development.
• At least 1 year of experience with application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic, or IIS.
• At least 1 year of experience configuring, debugging, and integrating systems as a developer.
• At least 1 year of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.
• At least 1 year of experience across the software development lifecycle for large-scale applications using Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree; US citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Appian Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Developer certification.
• Experience with Appian Tempo, Appian Sites, Java, Maven, enterprise application integration, SOA, ESB, and n-tier client-server architectures.
• Federal government software development experience and experience documenting solution architecture.
• Strong analytical, technical, written, verbal, interpersonal, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
