Appian Developer (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in Canada. Flexible arrangements available: 100% remote, hybrid, or onsite (Toronto Office).

Salary: $123,000 – $152,000

What you will do

• Design, code, test, and document process workflows using Appian Technology based on business requirements.
• Develop and innovate commercial technology assets to ensure system robustness, performance, and reliability.
• Build new product offerings and enhance existing key business platforms using the latest technologies.
• Collaborate with internal and external user groups within an agile development environment.
• Contribute to the internal Appian practice by sharing methods and best practices.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-7 years of experience building Enterprise Workflows specifically on the Appian Platform.
• Deep knowledge of Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, Expressions, and Data Management (CDTs, XSDs).
• Proficiency in SQL and database platforms such as Oracle or MariaDB.
• Experience with Agile methodology and the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence).
• Valid work authorization for Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with DocuSign and document management platforms.
• Background in wealth management, brokerage, or financial services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course.
• Appian Certification.
