Location: Hybrid position in Reston, VA; part-time telecommuting, up to 5% domestic travel

What you will do

• Develop or improve client GHG emissions inventories, build user-friendly tools, and lead lifecycle analyses across product or project stages.
• Conduct GHG mitigation policy analyses, provide comments on regulations, develop emissions projections, and recommend long-term strategies.
• Plan and manage technical studies on air quality, GHG inventories, climate action planning, health risk, and noise impact assessments.
• Support clients with carbon credits, sustainability metrics, materiality assessments, stakeholder engagement, and ESG planning.
• Analyze climate change impacts, prepare policy analyses, engage stakeholders, and document insights for technical reports.
• Manage environmental performance data, benchmark metrics, develop dashboards, and act as project manager for complex deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sustainability or related field + 5 years progressively responsible experience in sustainability management or consulting
• 4.5 years building optimized GHG emissions quantification approaches
• 5 years conducting technical studies on air quality, GHG emissions, climate action planning, health risk, and noise assessments
• 5 years developing and presenting technical environmental analyses to diverse audiences
• 2 years experience with survey development and lifecycle assessments
• Demonstrated knowledge of GHG emissions impacts and quantification for mitigation
