What you will do

• Own end-to-end billing and collections operations, including customer invoicing and AR aging management.
• Apply technical revenue recognition expertise (ASC 606) to complex multi-element contracts and conduct SSP analysis.
• Partner with Sales and Deal Desk to assess revenue recognition implications and advise on deal structuring.
• Manage month-end close deliverables, including deferred revenue and unbilled receivable reconciliations.
• Support annual financial statement audits by preparing revenue-related schedules and technical accounting memos.
• Design and maintain robust internal controls and drive automation in billing and accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience with exposure to revenue recognition or order-to-cash processes.
• Must be based in the US (West Coast).
• Solid understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and GL accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.

Nice to have

• CPA certification and Big 4 public accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Abacum, ARIBA, or SAM.
• Basic data querying skills and experience with ERP integrations.
