What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close for a global organization.
• Manage deferred revenue calculations and revenue policies in accordance with ASC606.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasting updates and KPI tracking (revenue, margins, cash flow).
• Manage company cash flow planning, banking relationships, and credit facilities.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external firms and the Board of Directors.
• Maintain and optimize financial systems, specifically NetSuite, and automate recurring reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA eligible.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, power pivots, vlookups).
• Experience working in a small business or growth-stage company.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and align with New Jersey-based operations.

Nice to have

• Experience in software development, SaaS, or IT services.
• Familiarity with ASC606 requirements and SuiteBilling.
• Experience with foreign currency accounting and ERP system upgrades.
• Proven track record of managing or mentoring accounting staff.
