What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end close cycles to a 5-day standard, ensuring accuracy of all balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial statements and consolidated financial packages (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Design and maintain internal control frameworks and manage the external audit process.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation models.
• Supervise, mentor, and review the work of accountants and bookkeepers to build team capacity.
• Drive ERP implementations, migrations, and automate workflows to strengthen SOPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to work during U.S. client business hours.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, or MBA certification.
• Previous experience as a Controller or Finance Manager in mid-market companies.
• Experience in SaaS, professional services, or real estate sectors.
• Proficiency in BI reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
