Finance Controller

Location: Remote from Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, or United Kingdom

What you will do

• Own core accounting and controlling processes like month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting
• Partner with VP of Accounting & Controlling on day-to-day operations and transformation initiatives
• Ensure continuity, accuracy, and consistency across accounting activities as a key support
• Take ownership of selected processes to reduce risks and build resilience
• Support audit preparation and execution with internal and external stakeholders
• Improve, document, and automate financial processes and workflows
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and other teams for alignment

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting, controlling, or auditing in a fast-paced technology environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS preferred)
• Proven experience with month-end close and financial reporting
• Hands-on mindset, ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfort in fast-paced, evolving environments with high attention to detail and ownership
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS or tech environments
• Background in audit (Big 4 or similar)
• Exposure to finance transformation or process improvement
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
