Chief of Staff

TL;DR

Chief of Staff: Act as a force multiplier for the CEO and executive team, driving clarity, alignment, and execution across the company with an accent on defining OKRs, cross-team coordination, and special projects. Focus on strategic decision-making, board and investor prep, communication norms, and reinforcing mission-driven culture.

Location: NYC hybrid available or fully remote; must have work authorization in the US or Canada. Remote-first with optional NYC HQ; regular on-sites 1-2x per year.

Salary: $170,000 - $180,000 OTE per year

What you will do

• Define company OKRs with CEO and leadership, identify priorities, and track progress.
• Coordinate across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations for alignment and accountability.
• Support CEO in decision-making, communications, board meetings, and investor updates.
• Own cross-departmental special projects critical to growth.
• Build communication norms, operating cadences, and mission-driven culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant experience in startup, consulting, strategy, or operations
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving
• Strong project and stakeholder management
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• High emotional intelligence and adaptability
• Bias toward execution and mission-driven mindset
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
