What you will do

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts across technology, facilities, legal, finance, and operations.
• Oversee office operations and remote work infrastructure to support a distributed team.
• Improve cross-functional processes and support board preparation, including OKRs and leadership meetings.
• Build internal systems, documentation, and playbooks to codify company workflows.
• Ensure operational compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Partner with the CEO on resource planning, organizational design, and strategic projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience in fast-scaling startups.
• Proven track record supporting companies through rapid growth (20 to 100+ employees).
• Strong project management skills and a systems-thinking approach to scalable processes.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and context-switch between diverse operational challenges.
• Must be based in New York City to support a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOC 2 and HIPAA operational requirements.
• Background in tech or healthcare startups navigating growth and complexity.
• Familiarity with board operations and investor relations.
• MBA or equivalent business operations training.
