What you will do

• Perform dynamic riser, umbilical, and power cable analysis for production and drilling units.
• Develop advanced monitoring systems for vessels, risers, and wellheads, including data acquisition, analysis, and prediction.
• Conduct hydrodynamic vessel analysis utilizing Dynamic Positioning controllers and control systems.
• Manage design, installation, and operation projects specifically for offshore wind energy.
• Create statistical and machine learning models to transform operational data into actionable items.
• Build algorithms and dashboards to support the product portfolio and communicate technical results to key decision-makers.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Structural, Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture, Engineering Mechanics, Applied Math, Physics, or Computer Science.
• 0-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Matlab, C#, or C++.
• Experience or familiarity with riser analysis tools such as Orcaflex, Flexcom, or Riflex.
• Knowledge of production riser systems (SCRs, top tension, flexible) and subsea umbilicals/power cables.
• Location: Must be based in Houston, TX

Nice to have

• Familiarity with drilling riser systems and analysis.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in digital technology, including AI and Machine Learning.
