Salary: $75,000 – $164,310 per year

What you will do

• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and optimize modular structures for configuration efficiency.
• Develop and release vehicle components, schematics, and harness assemblies using ECAD tools.
• Analyze designs for power, grounding, circuit protection, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and thermal management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including mechanical, controls, and manufacturing engineers, as well as external suppliers.
• Support the entire product lifecycle from development and production launch to variant customization and field support.
• Provide technical input for DVP&R and technical publications.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Proficiency in harness design and CAD software such as Zuken or Capital.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting electrical systems using multimeters, CANalyzer, and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with automotive/heavy-duty vehicle design and industry standards (NFPA, NEC, APTA).
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Livermore, CA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of RFI, EMC, EMI, ESD, or stationary/mobile broadcast systems.
• Prior experience with Infotainment, Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), and Automatic Vehicle Monitoring (AVM) technologies.
