What you will do

• Develop training courses for on-demand and instructor-led delivery, including slides, videos, and hands-on labs
• Design new courses for various hirify.global user personas in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams
• Produce high-quality on-demand content for hirify.global Academy with other developers
• Teach courses virtually via Zoom and in-person for public, private, and community events
• Write and deploy quizzes and certification exams for hirify.global credentials
• Establish community presence on social media and deliver training/talks at conferences and meetups

Requirements

• Located in the EMEA region
• Ability to travel regionally throughout EMEA
• Self-motivated with desire to complete projects in fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Proven experience developing curriculum for highly technical audiences like software engineers and database developers
• Proven experience teaching audiences of different sizes and backgrounds
• Experience with SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Technical breadth and depth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems, software engineering, and big data
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience with curriculum development for databases and/or distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of building machine learning applications and/or GenAI
• Strong knowledge of database internals and deploying at scale
• Experience with hirify.global database
• Experience with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure
• Experience building software certification exams
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, support, product, and development teams
• Technical degree (e.g., Computer Science or related field)
