What you will do

• Lead new product development from the brainstorm phase through mass production.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of product developers, ensuring their professional advancement.
• Define product specifications by combining consumer needs, market gaps, and new technologies.
• Develop user-relevant design targets for product performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with Insights & Intelligence teams to implement consumer feedback into design iterations.
• Oversee product cost structures and collaborate on sourcing strategy recommendations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, or human factors engineering, preferably in consumer goods.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in hiring, managing, and goal setting for team members.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly-effective communication skills for presenting to executive leadership.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Needham, MA.
