TL;DR
Director, Sales Training (Medtech): Leading global sales training, onboarding, capability development, and learning content strategy with an accent on sales readiness, customer engagement, and productivity enhancement. Location: Hybrid for candidates near Minnetonka, MN office or fully remote within the United States, in or near major cities
Salary: $190,000-$210,000 base + 30% target bonus

What you will do
- Serve as strategic partner in business planning, customer strategy, and decision-making.
- Translate growth objectives into sales readiness priorities and capability roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Quality & Regulatory, Medical Education, Medical Affairs, and Executive Leadership.
- Lead global sales enablement strategy, onboarding, training, and certification programs.
- Develop scalable content, tools, playbooks, and messaging for all sales process stages.
- Manage vendor relationships, technology platforms, KPIs, team performance, and direct reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Adult Education, or related field
- 10+ years in sales enablement, sales leadership, commercial training, or revenue operations
- Demonstrated success leading strategic enablement programs improving sales productivity
- Experience designing sales training, onboarding, and capability development
- Proven executive-level partnering and cross-functional collaboration
- 50% travel including overnight stays
Nice to have
- Master’s degree (MBA or similar)
- Formal training or certification in sales methodologies, learning & development, or revenue operations
- Experience with sales operations, forecasting, CRM systems, or sales reporting
