TL;DR

Litigation Paralegal (Legal): Supporting sensitive family law cases with an accent on discovery preparation and litigation support. Focus on drafting pleadings, managing case files in My Case and Dropbox, and ensuring timely court filings.

Location: Remote (Preferred: Latin America / Chile). Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm EST

Salary: $1,200 - $1,500 per month

What you will do

• Prepare and respond to discovery documents, including drafting, organizing, and reviewing.
• Support litigation tasks such as drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and handling court filings.
• Manage document tracking and case files using My Case law practice management software.
• Organize case files securely via Dropbox or similar systems.
• Coordinate communication between attorneys, opposing counsel, court staff, and clients.
• Track deadlines to ensure the timely completion of all litigation-related tasks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal with U.S. law firms.
• Proven experience in discovery and litigation workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Availability to work according to 9 am to 5 pm EST schedule.
