• Design and develop robust, maintainable backend services and APIs.
• Partner with Product, Design, and QA to deliver features from ideation through deployment.
• Contribute to architecture decisions within a growing microservices ecosystem.
• Promote engineering excellence through automated testing, code reviews, and effective monitoring.
• Identify system risks and improve observability and resilience over time.
• Mentor teammates and foster a collaborative culture of autonomy and accountability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and operating backend systems for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin, or C#.
• Experience architecting and designing services in a microservices environment.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills with a focus on performance.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Kibana.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
