What you will do
- Prospect, pitch, and close new businesses in the assigned territory to grow the merchant network.
- Execute a field-first strategy by visiting prospective merchants daily and attending local industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach and drop-ins to negotiation and final closing.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets.
- Analyze the local market to identify untapped opportunities aligned with customer demand.
- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and track performance metrics within Salesforce.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of outbound field sales experience combined with strong inside sales skills.
- Expertise in full-cycle sales methodology with a focus on conversion optimization.
- Strong B2B negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas and OKRs in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility for 70-80% travel, including regional multi-night trips.
