What you will do

• Perform O&M activities for solar PV sites and substations in Southern Arizona (Casa Grande, Phoenix, Globe, and Yuma).
• Execute corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on power electronics, DC combiner boxes, and trackers.
• Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders for power facilities.
• Ensure all field work is performed in accordance with environmental and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with work crews to maintain power facility operations and exceed industry best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work in Casa Grande, AZ.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent Journeyman qualifications.
• 3+ years of experience as a PV O&M solar technician, or 5+ years in a power plant with 1+ year in PV Solar O&M/construction.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical/mechanical fundamentals (single craft journeyman skills) and solid-state theory.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Experience with high, medium, and low voltage switching.
