What you will do

• Manage a product team of 3-5 backend and frontend engineers, balancing management (30%) with active development.
• Lead the hiring and onboarding processes for new engineers within the team.
• Provide continuous constructive feedback, coaching, and career growth guidance for direct reports.
• Redesign how engineering work is shipped by implementing autonomous agents as the default execution layer.
• Propose and operationalize end-to-end agentic workflows (spec → plan → execute → verify).
• Build reusable agentic primitives in the codebase to be applied across various domains.

Requirements

• Experience managing an engineering team of at least 2 people.
• Extensive expertise in Frontend (React, JS, ES6, Jest) or Backend (Elixir/Phoenix).
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and a track record of shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems.
• Ability to define clear specs, instrument verification loops, and maintain high quality.
