Salary: $200,000 - $250,000

What you will do
- Own delivery accountability and the engineering roadmap in partnership with product leadership to align technical investments with company objectives.
- Drive architectural decisions across the full stack, including consumer-facing React applications, API layers, and Salesforce integrations.
- Manage end-to-end relationships with external engineering partners to maintain quality and seamless integration.
- Coach and develop senior direct reports, including the Lead Product Engineer and Salesforce Engineering Manager.
- Implement AI-first engineering practices and evaluate emerging technologies to improve team velocity and product quality.
- Ensure system compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements for financial and real estate data.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in engineering management, including experience managing managers or senior leads.
- Strong technical knowledge of React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud deployment platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce platform architecture at the integration level, including APIs and middleware patterns.
- Proven track record at a startup or growth-stage company (sub-300 employees).
- Demonstrated experience managing external or outsourced engineering teams.
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and the practical application of LLMs in engineering workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, proptech, or real estate technology.
- Track record of scaling an engineering organization from approximately 10 to 25 people.
- Experience transitioning technical ownership from external vendors to an internal team.
- Knowledge of SOC 2 or similar data privacy frameworks for sensitive financial data.
