What you will do

• Collaborate with product management and manufacturing teams to optimize low voltage power product configurations.
• Perform advanced 3D modeling and detailed 2D drafting for fabrication and client coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers to foster skill development within the team.
• Develop system-level configuration strategies balancing technical requirements and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, including UL 891, UL 1558, and NFPA 70E.
• Refine designs based on feedback from manufacturing and installation phases to improve product features.

Requirements

• BSME or equivalent required (MSME preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in CTO or system engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Pro E.
• Expertise in sheet metal design and manufacturability.
• Familiarity with low/medium voltage switchgear or the power industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
