TL;DR

Head of Brand & Sync Partnerships (Music): Establish and lead a music solutions division owning strategy, marketing, revenue, execution, and growth targets with an accent on bridging brand briefs with independent creators. Focus on building high-performing sales teams, evolving offerings, shaping market demand, and driving P&L profitability.

Location: Brooklyn, New York (four days in-office, one day remote)

Salary: $200k-$275k + bonus + equity

hirify.global builds a marketplace connecting artists, brands, and fans, enabling independent artists to distribute music, retain ownership, and earn royalties through its platform and in-house creative agency Translation.

What you will do

  • Establish and lead the music solutions division, owning strategy, marketing, revenue, execution, resourcing, and aggressive growth targets while driving P&L.
  • Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across multiple locations.
  • Evolve music solutions offerings, bridging brand briefs with independent creators and vendor partners.
  • Act as external thought leader, shaping market demand and competitive edge for hirify.global' ecosystem.
  • Maintain top-tier customer service across enterprise and self-serve accounts, tracked by satisfaction, growth, and renewal KPIs.
  • Contribute to senior leadership councils and partner with Translation to scale services for brand music needs.

Requirements

  • 15+ years experience and relationships in music licensing community
  • 12+ years pitching catalog music for US Advertising, TV, or Film placements with proven deal-closing track record
  • Proven experience building, coaching, and managing global sales team of 10+ for innovative sync products, consistently beating quotas
  • Distinct industry viewpoint to leverage hirify.global' position in independent music for competitive advantages
  • Passionate, empathetic leader attuned to company values and independent artists
  • Entrepreneurial player-coach: driven, self-directed, resourceful, thriving in growth stages

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Music Industry, or related field
  • Mastery of CRM software like Hubspot or Salesforce
  • Deep experience with product demos and presentations
  • Enterprise sales environment experience
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies
